2/23/2011 - Surveillance Photographs from Heraly`s Beverages Burglary

Green Bay Police are attempting to identify two individuals who burglarized Heraly’s Beverages 1751 University Ave during the early hours of February 15th. Both appear to be juvenile white or Hispanic males.

Anyone with information may call Detective Gary Fifarek at 448-3261, or they can remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward by calling Green Bay Area Crime Stoppers at 432-STOP (7867)

2/17/2011 - Fatal Vehicle vs Pedestrian Accident

The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian fatal crash from last evening.

At around 8:00pm last night, a male was found laying in the roadway in the 1500 block of Elm Street. A citizen driving in the area found the male unconscious in the roadway. The citizen began CPR. The victim was transported to a local hospital and passed away. He was a 41 year-old male from Green Bay. His name is being withheld pending notification of family.

The male was found on the north side of the roadway and a grey bicycle was found a few feet from him. It is unknown if he was riding or pushing the bicyle when he was struck. The male was found approximately 350 feet east of Newhall Street. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday where we may learn more about his injuries.

We are asking for the publics help in this investigation. We would like to talk with anyone who may have been in the area of the incident shortly before 8:00pm, or who may have seen the victim in the area. He was wearing dark clothes and had a grey mountain bicycle with him. He was a 41 year old white male. We also would like to talk with anyone who has information on where the victim was prior to the incident.
